This year's Wells Bombardier World Dock Leaf Pudding Competition, an international search for the finest culinary delicacy made of dock leaves, takes place at the Mytholmroyd Community Centre, West Yorkshire on Sunday 28th April 2002. The puddings, made of dock leaves, together with nettles, onions, oatmeal and all manner of secret ingredients, will be taste-tested by a panel of judges including Jane Cox, ITV's Emmerdale's Lisa Dingle.
A signed glove that belonged to one of boxing’s greats, Sugar Ray Leonard, has helped raise over £1000 for Michael Watson at a fundraising night organised by British boxing legend, Charlie Magri, at his pub, The Victoria in Bow.
